Bob Wall

Mr. Wall has trained in many styles with some of the most prominent figures in the arts. He studied Judo under Gene LeBell, Okinawa-te under Joe Lewis, Boxing under Chuck "The Hurricane Kid" Simonini, Jujitsu under the famous Machado Brothers, and Tae Kwon Do under Chuck Norris. Speaking of his experience with his teachers, Mr. Wall once said: " Joe and Gene toughened me up, but it was Chuck Norris that turned me into a complete martial artist and in the process taught me a lot of life’s lessons."

From 1965 to 1972, for almost 2 decades, Mr. Wall dominated the world karate scene placing 1st or 2nd in every major championship. Outside the ring, this talented fighter had an equally successful movie career. He stared with Bruce Lee in one of the top ten grossing films of all time: "Enter the Dragon" as well as in "Return of the Dragon". The fight scenes between the two are some of the most memorable ones in Hollywood’s history. Although he gained immortality by being one of Bruce Lee’s greatest screen challenges, the two shared a very special friendship bond until Mr. Lee’s death.

Throughout his career as a fighter and film star, Mr. Wall made the cover of 41 magazines including "Black Belt" and "Karate Illustrated." He has also earned four Hall of Fame inductions and the Karate Pioneer and Martial Arts Museum Awards. In 1967 Bob Wall and Chuck Norris formed partnership with two karate studios and grew them into a large chain of studios. In 1975, he established a valuable archive by authoring the first "Who’s Who in the Martial Arts" and "Directory of Black Belts" which included over 5,000 martial arts schools. Today, Mr. Wall is not only an instructor but a successful business man and a founding member of "WorldBlackBelt.com", the first international Martial Arts Community that serves to link men and women involved in the arts from all around the world. Fully dedicated to Martial Arts, he sees it as : " …a wonderful way of life with its discipline, respect and outstanding practitioners."
